Two major fundraising evens were held in 2010. Duncan's Martial Arts Academy held a benefit in March 2010 to raise money for Traumatic Brain Injury for Soldiers Returning from War. This was held at Onondaga Community College and many martial artists from the Syracuse community stepped up and donated their time, and taught seminars throughout the day. We would like to thank all those instructors, their students and all the parents and friends who attended in helping make this event a success.
In October 2010, Belleview Martial Arts Club, under the direction of Sensei Bruno Danielle held a benefit for Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The event was a board breaking and kick-a-thon for kids and adults. The event was very successful and it raised over thousand dollars. We would like to thank Carol Baldwin for her continued devotion and dedication to raise awareness and help fund research for breast cancer which impacts the lives of many of our families.

Duncan’s Martial Arts Academy welcomes all new students and thank you for making our program one of the best in the country. We have a lot of exciting things going on in the dojo and we are happy that you are apart of our organization. Remember it is important not only to work hard in the dojo but also at home and at school. We take pride in the fact that our students are not only successful at the dojo but are successful academically at school. We want to thank all parents for your continued support in getting your child to and from the program despite the long winter that we are having. However, we are reminded that your child's safety comes first and if the weather is severe please don’t travel. If the Syracuse city school district is closed for weather concerns, the dojo will be closed.
